I catch a lot of shit because I put a splash of sweet and sour in mine, but after people taste them they tell me they are the best ones they have ever had. I’m giving you an option when I post this recipe on the flavor of Jell-o you use. It’s supposed to be a lime based drink, but red and green make brown. (jr. high art class) so if you want them to be pink use lemon instead.

1 6oz box lime or lemon Jell-o
1 cup boiling water
1 ½ cups vodka
¼ cup Rose’s lime juice(or another brand….nobody is paying me to advertise yet) sweetened lime juice is sweetened lime juice. Rose’s is just the most well known brand
¼ cup sweet and sour mix
¼ cup triple sec
¾ cup cranberry juice

Stir the jello in to the boiling water until they aint no more granules on the bottom of the bowl. Add the vodka, lime juice, sweet and sour, triple sec and cranberry juice and stir gently. Pour into 2oz plastic portion cups that have not been dowsed with cooking spay and refrigerate for 2-3 hours. Enjoy your party. Trust me about the spray, it doesn’t soak in to the jello like it does with muffins. It stays on the surface and sticks to your tongue.

Sorry I’ve been gone so long, I have an undiagnosed case of ADHD and I got tired of doing this for a while. All you Jello shot junkies out there that are looking for something new and different, I got it for ya. At one point in my life I had never had a mixed drink with beer in it. The bartender that poured me a skip and go naked gets half credit for this jello shot, but I can’t remember his name. I’m posting this cuz I’ve never seen a Jello shot recipe with beer in it either. I’ve never actually made this in to jello before, so if it sucks, let me know. My Jello shot mentality is, if the drink is good, the jello shot will be too. I have been wrong, but not very often. If I am this time, please let me know. Enough rambling, the recipe is like dis…….

1 6 oz box lemon Jello
1 cup hot water (preferably boiling, but coffee pot water is hot enough)
1 cup vodka
½ cup sweet and sour mix
1 ½ cups beer (not good beer that has a lot of hops in it, crappy beer you can see through, domestic stuff that bars sell for a buck or two on special nights)

Great drink when you’re mowing the lawn in the summer, and I think a great Jello shot. If I am wrong let me know. If I’m right let me know too, but thanks for checking out the site.
