Sangria Jello Shot Recipe

Here’s one I’m sure nobody has ever seen before.  Somebody told me once that if you like red wine and try a new bottle that turns out to be shitty, it can be saved.  Just put a little orange juice in it and it takes the edge off the shitty wines.  So lucky me, the other day I was drinking red wine and oj and thought “oh shit, this would make a great Jello shot.  So, here goes.

 

1 6oz box orange Jello

1 cup boiling water

2 ½ cups red wine

½ cup orange juice

 

Dissolve Jello in boiling water.  Add red wine and orange juice and stir until well mixed.  Pour into 2 oz plastic portion cups and chill 2-3 hours until set.  By the way, I’m calling this one the Sangria Jello Shot
